How the scam works:
If you are a gambler, do it for fun, as much as you want, wherever you want (provided you only gamble with money you can afford to throw away)– but never trust the sports arbitrage betting offers.
These come to you as websites advertising “their services” - placing an automatic bet on your behalf, whenever the odds of a game vary on different betting websites. The sports arbitrage specialists require an initial registration fee and 25% of your winnings (which are guaranteed, right?).
The scam is you will never hear from them again, once you have paid your registration fee, losing all of the money you gave them.
How to avoid:
Before you pay, you should ask yourself – if the winning is guaranteed – why don’t they just do the betting themselves, with their own money?
