Is cerebrumiq.com Legit?

Please reach out as soon as possible if you’ve been scammed by these guys. Send me a name, state of residence, total amount charged by this company, and an email. I’m working on getting a class action lawsuit to shut these guys down permanently. They are incorporated out of Wyoming but are in Romania. Buyer beware!

Disgusting people. They advertise an IQ test and when you spend about 20-30 minutes doing it, you can’t get the answers unless you pay for a subscription. You also don’t get details of where you went wrong! Cancelling a subscription is also difficult. It’s just theft!!!

Thieves. Charged me for a full subscription that I never asked for, nor accepted. They have refused to refund these illegal charges. Stay away from this fraudulent scamming company.

Scammed me out of two payments that I didn’t authorise and refused to refund saying the subscription became active - yes activated by them instantly. I did not authorise the payments, just one 99p payment on Apple Pay and did not realise this gave them the ability to keep taking money from me.

Scammers. I wish I had checked reviews before getting ensnared with this company. The IQ results aren’t even accurate- just a load of nonsense to get you to pay them money. Steer clear!!! Do not give them any money. They will take the initial £0.99 and then take, in my case, a further £28.99 that wasn’t authorised. I hate cheating fraudsters.

They offer you an IQ report for 99p then charge you £48.01 after a misleading and deliberately deceptive process to make you think you are getting the 99p report. They then sign you up to a week subscription and charge you £48.01 immediately, then make it impossible to get an answer from the chatbot customer services and no refund.I suggest that you do as I am doing and raise a dispute/chargeback with your credit card company and hopefully you will be able to get your money back from this disgusting scam company. The company is not registered in the UK and uses underhand tactics to take peoples money."

I agreed to pay £0.99 for my test score but was bombarded with subscription offers, which I kept skipping until there was no other button to press than agree, when it immediately charged £28.99 from my account without confirmation. I emailed them to say I did not intend to subscribe and would like a refund, to which they responded that they have no-refund policy under any circumstances. This is clearly scam and I have reported them to Action Fraud.

Don’t waste your time doing their IQ test as you have to pay to get the results. Looking at their other reviews it seems as though they charge your credit card even if you only select the free trial and try to cancel immediately.

I attempted to cancel again and was charged $19.99 again. Upon finding their email, I was sent a generic response. I even found screenshot evidence of the cancellations and yet they kept referring me back to my original, closed ticket providing no further response. Report these scammers to the BBB and dispute the transaction through your bank! They will not refund you.

Disgusting, predatory business practices. This site is deliberately confusing to the user. You believe you can cancel, but I was debited around 30 USD for a service I did not want. Refuse to refund my money.STAY AWAYCrooks.

What went wrong? -No test results were provided, but after completing the ridiculously simple test, they did provide me with the opportunity to give them credit card information. No notice of payment requirement was given before the test was completed. What can the company do to improve?They can start by looking at Trust Pilot reviews.

Scam! They intentionally give you a low score so that you will buy in to their subscription plan, which is ridiculously expensive, all in order to “improve” your IQ. They have your card info for the .99 cent purchase so they automatically enroll you into their subscription even if you escape out of the website before “choosing” a subscription level. If you were silly enough (like me) to take their test for .99 cents then make sure you cancel immediately or else you will be billed!

Quite simply a scam !!! They literally do anything for you not to be able to cancel the subscription. I do however have my card locked, unless I use it momentarily, so you will not succeed with your scam with me.

TOTAL SCAM & THIEVES !!! The only thing I agreed to was 99 cents, then they charged me USD 28.99, and 7 days later USD 19.99, both unauthorized, tried to contact them but was unable, contacted my credit card company and blocked and disputed. Run from this company and we should all file a legal complaint for fraud with the attorneys general so they will be prosecuted!

The test asked for a trial sign up to see results, then proceeded to call it an "order" and asked me to complete sign up with different options. Thinking it was part of the trial, I signed up and then was told I was charged the full price for 3 months. They refused to refund immediately saying the terms were 'very clear' - look at how many people were misled and tricked of their money here.

Scam. Do not engage. They will steal your card details and charge you. Please never ever use this company. As many other have stated before me. They signed me up to a $70 subscription without my consent or authorisation but they had my card details after I agreed to a one week free trial costing $0.99. I asked for my money back within 5 minutes and have been told that will not happen. An absolute scam. Please steer clear

I paid 0.99 GBP to get the result of my Iq test. Found that my account was charged with 48.01 GBP even I did not approve any subscription.I have been contacted by Cerebrum IQ customer service and a full refund has been issued.

Wish I could put 0 stars stole money from my account I signed up for the 99p trial but in total have lost approximately £70 No Refund policy said the nauseatingly annoying Veronica. Oh and don’t forget the “ We wish you a wonderful day ahead!” as she ends every email. I subscribed to their service Ultra Pack 4-in-1 Bundle with a discount and when I tried to cancel immediately without using it, they refused a refund. The cancellation process was also complex, in my opinion using a deliberate poor UX to ensure it is not easy to unsubscribe. Such practices are illegal in my country, requiring refunds within 24h if unused. This may be legal in the US, but it's unethical. I've lost trust and won't use their services again.

They provide a detailed "analysis" with nothing to support it. It reminded me of the time as a kid, when my friend and I spent a dollar each to submit a handwriting analysis to a machine. The next day we repeated the test and I got the same set of personality attributes that my friend got the day before. Bottom line, my falling for the scam demonstrated I'm not as smart as I thought I was.

I took the IQ test and was offered a trial for $.99 to see the results. I bought it because clearly, my IQ is not 113 as the test results showed; it must be much lower to fall for the scam they are running. Afterward, I was presented with a series of offers to bypass the trial and sign up for different services. I am certain I clicked no/skip, yet I was charged over $48, which I did not authorize. Interestingly, my Apple device usually asks me to confirm purchases, but it did not prompt me this time. I am sure I did not authorize any additional purchases, and I am puzzled as to how they are getting away with this. If they are a legitimate site, it is questionable why they allow such practices and have a no-refund policy, which further indicates their shady operations
