totaladblock.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives totaladblock.com a medium-high trust score on the platform: 75.9. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Standard. Valid. Common.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this score? We came up with the 75.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to totaladblock.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning totaladblock.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between totaladblock.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of totaladblock.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of totaladblock.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. totaladblock.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether totaladblock.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether totaladblock.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, totaladblock.com.

Be aware, very aware

Saw the number of ads increasing and saw the fee of Adblock, $2.99 a month, unfortunately I could not load onto my new computer, "incompatible", asked my son to check for me as I am nearing 80 years old. Unable to load the program, " just send them an email and cancel your monthly subscription". Sent them an email explaining the issue, got a time stamp of receipt, and went to my PayPal account to cancel the monthly charge. What should to my wandering eye appear, a $39.00 charge? Sent them seven emails asking how they got permission for a charge of $39.00 + $2.99 for the month? No response, your email received, "do not send multiple emails it causes delays in our response". Contacted PayPal and since I could not produce an invoice, they gave the decision to Adblock. So be cautious, unless you can throw $40.00 away for zip/nada. Tip for consumers:What computers this program is not compatible with. Products used:None of the application

SCAM SCAM!

DO NOT fall for their claims to block unwanted pop-up adds from your computer or laptop! If I could give this company a MINUS 10 I would. NOTHING but a scam! AND forget about their customer service,, You'll NEVVVVAAAA have contact with the same person! I had to go through a David, Naomi, Gia, Shirley, and Russell! WITH NO RESOLUTION!

Impossible to Cancel - By Design

They offered a $1 trial. This product didn't even remove 20% of the ads so it does not perform as promised. Not even close. I monitored and logged many of the ad popups. I cancelled before the 30 day trial ended and they "confirmed" I was cancelled. Because their addon extension was causing a problem with my desktop, they walked me through the uninstall steps. The next month they billed me. I'm lazy, so I didn't notice for awhile. I tried to cancel again, but their process it specifically designed to prevent people from cancelling. It says go to your account billing to cancel, but there is no button or link there to do so. It only has copies of your billing history (statements) and your credit card information. By design, you cannot cancel or modify the credit card information without adding a new replacement card. There simply is no "cancel account" option anywhere on the website. They don't provide a phone for customer support. They only provide chat service and any customer in the USA knows how these outsourced chats work. Overly polite, but absolutely worthless as they communicate through a script. There is no functional interaction while all the time they are trying to resell you - upgrade - your services. They cannot cancel your account through the chat - sigh - so they offer to send you an email link that never arrives. Now, it's up to you to remember to start this process all over again and repeat the same foolish nonsense. I NEVER recommend subscribing to ANY service that cannot offer simple and precise platforms or basic human services. This is more on the scam side than legit. The product barely works and all they are looking for is your credit card number to get you stuck until you contact your credit card company to set up a block. Business should not make customer service this hard. Stay away from this very, very poor company, unless you are simply fine paying monthly for a sub-par service.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Are You the Owner of totaladblock.com?

If you own totaladblock.com, we would love to hear from you. However, if you would like to challenge this review and trust score, we are more than willing to take a deeper look, but be prepared to offer solid proof of your business. Please introduce yourself first (your name, not "Admin"). Consumers are smart. Typically, they don't trust websites that don't show transparency, such as the location of the business, team, or any other physical existence. When domain owners contact us to challenge the trust score of their website on our website Validator, we would kindly ask them to share some of the following things: * Details from their ecosystem that would show that they are 100% trustworthy (certificate of incorporation, business registration, official records showing the name of the website or business, etc.). * Their personal profile on LinkedIn and social media accounts for the business on Facebook. * If possible, some screenshots/proof of satisfied clients (not testimonials on their website), proof of inventory, canceling orders when requested, etc.). We are more than willing to update the review right away—the more proof you show, the higher the trust score will be.

I have never (NEVER) asked for TotalAdBlocker. I don't know where it came from and I can't get rid of it. I noticed that PayPal sent $119.00 to them without my authorization. I don't know how to disable or delete it. I have no idea how this came into my life.

  2. Dennis M Doland

On 6/12022 you debited my account for $119.00 however you naver activated my account as far as i can tell. Please refund my money asap!

totaladblock has taken money from my account 118.8euros without my permission and now have had to block my card to stop this happening again . Be warned thissite isa scam

  4. Judy Kelly

TotalAdblock offered free service, so I took it, and it did work. However, in just about a week later, they said my Free Adblock had ended, and I would have to pay over $100 per year. I did not renew it because of the high price. After that, they popped up constantly on my screen, each time covering my screen! I mean, it's constant, and keeps coming back, covering the parts that I am reading. For this reason, I became suspicious, besides the high price, and will never renew it. They are way too aggressive, and although they are good, I would not take a service that basically harasses you constantly. If I could block them, I would. I will never sign up for a service that harasses me and blocks my screen, ever.

    1. j ensor

I had the same experience. After one week, their free service stopped and they bombarded me with 100 shots a day. Basically whenever I was online. This was far worse than the adds. It is a nasty con trick.

  5. j ensor

this site is a dreadful nuisance. it bombards you with its own ads every time that you go on the internet. Keep clear

  6. j ensor

They will never leave you alone.

  7. Lambie

These people are thieves. Charged my account $119.00 a few weeks ago, called to dispute, refunded $90.00, they kept $19.00 for doing absolutely nothing. Today, same $119.00 charge through Paypal, opened a case to get a refund. No need to call them, it'll be the same reduced refund amount and an easy $19.00 for them. Paypal rep said they automatically enroll you in auto debit when you simple go on their site! Don't go near them!

  8. Pablo

Unauthorized charges attempted to my credit card: $1.99, $38.98, $39 VISA blocked the charges, had to cancel and reissue card

  9. David Moore

I have the following debits on my current account. Note, the first is for just £1.99, which suggests it was a trial - I have no memory of it. I asked my bank to cancel it in February - which they did. Then they changed the name to get round the bank's block, and the debits resumed again. That suggests it is a deliberate attempt at fraud, and that is a criminal activity. Note: there are several adblock companies with similar names. This one looks like an attempt to skim some money from the overall market. 06-Dec-23 TOTALADBLOCK WATERLOOVILLE GB £1.99 06-Jan-24 TOTALADBLOCK WATERLOOVILLE GB £9.95 06-Feb-24 TOTALADBLOCK WATERLOOVILLE GB £9.95 16-Mar-24 totaladblock.com Denmead GB £9.95 04-May-24 totaladblock.com Denmead GB £9.95 01-Jun-24 totaladblock.com Denmead GB £9.95
